• Always wash your car in the shade and make sure the engine is cool.

• Rinse your car thoroughly not forgetting to spray inside the wheels and under the car to remove grit and salt deposits.

• Use a good car shampoo without wax and avoid using dishwashing liquid which could harm your paint.

• Don’t forget inside the doors, boot and bonnet.

• Use a lambs wool mitt so as not to scratch paintwork.

• Start washing from the top work your way down the whole vehicle, rinsing a section at a time, finishing with the wheels. Use a fresh bucket of shampoo when ever needed.

• Dry the car with a micro fibre cloth starting again at the top and working down.

• Use 840 Sapphire Prewax Cleaner over the entire car to remove old polish.

• Or if you prefer ss126 Liquid Sapphire Auto Wax or 73ss Paste Sapphire Auto Wax which clean and wax in one operation.

• Hose down the vessel with fresh water from top to bottom, then hull to stern to rinse off grit, salt and bird droppings.

• Use a lambs wool mitt so as not to scratch surfaces, with a soft to medium bristle brush on decks, not forgetting stainless railings and stanchions.

• If you need to use soap choose biodegradable products, wash and rinse a section at a time.

• Use 920 Fibreglass Boat Cleaner over the entire boat, one area at a time using a micro fibre cloth to remove black streaks and old wax and another to remove cleaner.

• Your boat is now chemically clean and ready for waxing.
925 Boat Wax is a thick liquid or 885 Special Heavy Duty Paste Fleetwax is a paste wax.
Apply the polish a section at a time with a micro fibre cloth and polish off with a lambs wool mitt or electric polisher. Do not polish decks or walkways.

• 870 Special Heavy Duty Fleetwax is a cleaner and polymer wax in one.
